Incorporate proteins and vitamins in your diet. Zinc and selenium are important vitamins for healthy hair. Milk, cheese, yogurt, chicken, eggs, salmon, spinach, broccoli, bell peppers, cabbage, parsley, grapefruit, avocado are some things you can try.
Massage your hair with oils like castor oil, sweet almond oil, coconut oil. You can add essential oils like tea tree oil, Rosemary oil, lavender or thyme oil to the above. The massage increases the blood circulation in your scalp leading to formation of new hair follicles.

Beetroot is a vegetable that can be juiced in a juicer or simply run in a blender and then pressed through a strainer. It is packed with protein, carotenoids, vitamins B and C, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and silica. To facilitate hair growth, drink beetroot juice regularly. It is rich in vitamins A, B-complex, and E, as well as calcium, magnesium, folic acid, and zinc.
Fish oils are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. They promote smooth, shiny and healthy hair growth. A deficiency of these fatty acids impedes hair growth. Take fish oil supplements daily for at least a month.
