Tria Hair Removal Laser 4x Australia
1. What technology does the Tria 4X use?
The Tria 4X uses the same laser diode that is used in the salons. The Tria removes unwanted hair by means of exposure to pulses of laser light that destroy the hair follicle. This is why it can deliver permanent results and works only on naturally brown or black hair.
2. How often do I need to treat and what preparations must I make?
6 weeks before your treatment you would need to stop waxing or plucking the hair and do not have a skin peel treatment. Once charged you would need to cleanse, shave and dry the skin. You can shave between treatments but do not pluck or wax the hair.
3. Which areas can't I use this on?
Do not use the Tria 4X on or around the eyes, eyebrows or eyelashes. Doing so can cause permanent injury to the eyes. Do not use on the ears, nipples, genitals or around the anus as these areas may have more sensitive skin, a darker skin tone or greater hair density.
4. How long does the battery life last?
You would need to charge the Tria 4X laser for at least 2 hours before you use it or anytime the battery indicator is 'empty' and blinking. You may need to charge the Tria in the middle of a treatment, this is normal but we would expect the battery tp last around 25-30 minutes.
5. When will I see results?
Tria advise that there is a 70% average hair count reduction 3 weeks after the second treatment. We would recommend continuing treatments until you acheive the desired level of hair reduction
HOW TO USE YOUR TRIA 4X
Like any hair removal treatment, preparing your skin is key to seeing the results you want.
Before every treatment, firstly cleanse the treatment area. Remove any lotions, cosmetics, creams or perfumes that may block the laser light.
Then you must have the treatment area. This removes the surface hair and will help the light to better reach the hair follicles and improve comfort. Lastly, dry the treatment area.
Step 1. Unlock
For your safety, the Tria Laser 4X comes with a lock and skin sensor. It will always be locked when it is not in use. To unlock the laser, hold the skin sensor on the base of the device against the skin of your treatment area.
If the Tria Laser 4X is safe for your skin tone, the device will make a series of beeps and unlock.
Step 2. Set the Treatment Level
The Tria Hair Removal Laser has 5 different energy levels. It is clinically proven that higher levels were proven to be 2-3 times more effective. If you can tolerate the highest settings, you will see the best results.
Step 3. Treatment
To treat, touch and hold the treatment window flat to your skin until you hear two beeps. If the device does not beep, you may not have full contact between the device and your skin.
A buzzing tone rather than a beeping tone indicates you have lifted the device from the skin before the pulse was finished.
Do not move the treatment window between the first and second beep because this will disrupt the laser pulse and reduce its effectiveness.
Next, lift the device and place the treatment window back on the skin so it overlaps with the previous spot. You want to achieve an overlapping pattern in your treatment area, so each time you reposition the treatment window, move it about half the distance of the treatment window (.25 inches).
The overlapping method will ensure you cover all the hair follicles.
Different treatment areas require different numbers of pulses and time. Use the below table as a Pulse Counter Guide.
BODY PART | APPROXIMATE PULSES PER TREATMENT | APPROXIMATE MINUTES |
Underarms | 100 per side | 4-5 per side |
Bikini | 200 per side | 8-10 per side |
Upper Lip | 25 | 2-3 |
Upper Leg | 600 per side | 25-30 per side |
Lower Leg |
